Coffee can be brewed in many different ways, providing different flavor profiles even from the same beans. Make sure to brew the best beans that you can and if you find a way of brewing that works for you, keep on brewing the same way.
There are many different types of spirits and liqueurs out there. The recipes on this site have used the generic term where possible. Please feel free to substitute your favorite brand.

Whiskey Ginger Capp
3 oz Cold Coffee
2 oz Ginger Ale
1 oz Rye Whiskey
Fill Collins glass with ice. Pour rye whiskey and let settle for 30 seconds. Slowly pour ginger ale. Layer coffee on top. Garnish with lemon wheel.

Black Magic
2 oz Cold Coffee
1 ½ oz Vodka
¼ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
Shake coffee, vodka, and lemon juice with ice and strain into a sour glass half filled with ice. Garnish with lemon peel.

Chocolate Coffee Kiss
4 oz Hot Coffee
¾ oz Coffee Liqueur
¾ oz Irish Cream Liqueur
1 ¼ oz Crème de Cacao (Dark)
1 ¼ oz Orange Liqueur
1 ½ oz Chocolate Syrup
Mix all of the liqueurs with the coffee and stir. Top off with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and maraschino cherry.

Double Shot
2 oz Cold Coffee
2 oz Tequila
Rim a brandy snifter with salt/ground coffee (2 parts coffee to 1 part salt). Add large ice ball and then pour in coffee and tequila. Garnish with 2 lime wedges.


Shakerato Shake
3 oz Cold Coffee
½ oz Condensed Milk
¼ oz Simple Syrup
1 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream
Add ingredients into shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain into Collins glass and add chocolate shavings on top.

White Rush In
2 oz Cold Coffee
1 oz Coffee Liqueur
2 oz Vodka
1 oz Milk
Pour coffee, coffee liqueur, and vodka into Collins glass and stir. Add milk and serve.

Black Licorice Float
6 oz Cold Coffee
1 oz Anise Liqueur
1 oz Crème de Cacao
1 scoop Chocolate Ice Cream
Add coffee, anise liqueur, and crème de cacao into cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into highball glass. Add 1 scoop of chocolate ice cream and 2 pieces of black licorice.

Coffee Old-Fashioned

8 oz Cold Coffee
2 oz Bourbon
¾ oz Simple Syrup
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
2 oz Soda Water
Pour bourbon, syrup, bitters, and coffee into ice-filled old-fashioned glass and stir. Add soda water and stir again. Garnish with orange peel and cherry.

Old Friend
3 oz Cold Coffee
1 oz Rye Whiskey
1 oz Dry Vermouth
1 oz Campari
Add coffee, rye, vermouth, and Campari to cocktail shaker and stir. Strain over cube of ice in old-fashioned glass. Garnish with lemon peel.


Mocha In A Flash
4 oz Cold Coffee
1 oz Coffee Liqueur
1 oz Crème de Cacao
1 oz Milk
Place ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into brandy snifter. Sprinkle with chocolate powder.

Dirty Paloma
2 oz Cold Coffee
1 oz Tequila
1 oz Grapefruit Juice
Soda Water
Add ice, coffee, tequila, and grapefruit juice to a salt rimmed Collins glass and stir. Top up with soda water. Garnish with grapefruit peel.

Belgian Waffles and Coffee
6 oz Hot Coffee
½ oz Maple Syrup
½ oz Blueberry Syrup
Add maple syrup and blueberry syrup to red wine glass and top up with coffee. Garnish with a burnt marshmallow and 2 blueberries on the rim and whip cream over the coffee.

Chilly Irishman

3 oz Cold Coffee
1 oz Irish Whiskey
½ oz Coffee Liqueur
½ oz Irish Cream Liqueur
1 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream
1 scoop Ice
1 dash Simple Syrup
Process all ingredients in blender until smooth and pour into hurricane glass.


Coffee Brandy Alexander
2 oz Cold Coffee
1 oz Brandy
1 oz Crème de Cacao
½ oz Milk
Combine coffee, brandy, crème de cacao, and milk in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into coupe glass. Garnish with ground nutmeg and chocolate shaved chunks.


Penicillin Buzz
2 oz Cold Coffee
1 oz Lemon Juice
2 oz Blended Scotch
½ oz Honey
4 thin slices peeled ginger
Float ½ oz Single Malt Scotch
In cocktail shaker add ginger slices and muddle. Add coffee, lemon juice, blended scotch, and honey with ice into shaker. Shake and strain into old-fashioned glass with large ice cube. Float a smokey Single Malt Scotch on top. Garnish with lemon.

Mexican Coffee

1 oz Coffee Liqueur
1 oz Tequila
Whipped Cream
Pour coffee liqueur and tequila into preheated Irish coffee glass. Fill with coffee and stir. Top with whipped cream.
